Costruzioni Meccaniche F.lli Cavinato was founded on the 10th of September 1969 by brothers Sergio and Elviro Cavinato in Mantua. The first workshop dedicated to precision turning and milling was developed in a space of 100 square meters and specialized in the design and construction of systems and accessories for industrial production (in the mechanical, textile and machine tool sectors) establishing solid collaborative relationships with Pama of Verona and Marcegaglia Group of Gazoldo degli Ippoliti (MN) for the construction of plants, collateral equipment and series of rollers, dedicated to the production of pipes and open profiles.

n 1974 the company moved to the countryside, precisely to Rodigo where it is still based, building a 400 m2 workshop, where the new machines for grinding, turning, milling of medium-large sized details, special equipment are installed as well as a department dedicated to carpentry and assembly to build machines for the electromechanical, iron and steel sectors and machines for packaging clothes , creating a network of relationships with production companies in most of northern Italy.

Between 1990 and 2000, the company continued to expand the production area until it reached 2,500 m2, increasing the number of personnel.

The new millennium sees Cavinato in a constant and continuous process of technological updating as well as the modernization of the factory which reaches the current 5,000 square meters. In recent years the company has embarked on the path of internationalization looking for new markets in which to bring its technology and experience without forgetting the local dimension and the orientation focused on customer needs.
