Technology
The production in the workshop makes use of constantly updated technologies, mainly linked to the use of numerically controlled machine tools, which guarantee the dimensional constancy of the machined pieces with chip removal, a predefined level of surface roughness and precision in the execution of complex profiles.
The use of this type of machine involves programming the CNC machines and entering the data of the executive drawings using a CAD / CAM program that facilitates the compilation of a correct work cycle and to keep drawings and profiles archived.
In this specific work cycle, the experience that the company has gained in the knowledge of building materials and in the heat treatment sector comes into play, always accompanied by quality certificates 2.2 / 3.1 and DOP on request.
Furthermore, every single particular product is dimensionally checked at the output to minimize the possibility of non-compliance.
Turning
Our company has both traditional and numerically controlled (CNC) turning machines.
The maximum production capacities are 1020 mm diameter x 7000 mm table for Traditional Turning and 1300 mm diameter x 3200 mm table for Numerical Control Turning.
Linked to turning is the slotting phase of the holes in the rollers produced with a capacity of 50 mm x 700 mm.
Milling
The milling department is equipped with machining centers of different types, 3-4-5 axes with a maximum production capacity of 4000mm × 1100mm × 1200mm.
These capabilities allow the milling of parts in continuous rotation without ever having to reposition them and medium-large carpentry frames.
Grinding
We have tangential grinding machines with a maximum capacity of 2700 mm x 600 mm, internal grinding for Ø 800 mm x 300 mm and external grinding for Ø 180 mm x 2000 mm
Carpentry
Our equipment is complete with machines for the production of medium-light carpentry, MIG-TIG welding machines, wire and electrode, press-bending and shears with a maximum capacity of 3200 mm, calenders max 2600 mm and saws up to a maximum diameter of 540 mm.
The spray booth installed a few years ago allows us to deliver medium-sized mechanical parts ready for installation.
Quality Check
As part of the quality control according to the ISO 9001 management system, the company has a metrology room equipped with a digital altimeter, granite countertop, profile projector, feelers, roughness tester and durometers. Each machine tool workstation has its own set of gauges, micrometers and bore gauges.
